Food Styling in Cinematography

07.17.14
Believe it or not, what got me interested in more action in my kitchen? Movies and TV series with mouth watering (& eye watering) food styling in cinematography. I wish there are more movies with cooking scenes and food but I realized why movie directors shy away from this topic. It’s A LOT OF WORK!!! You need special production design team with numerous chefs (who can cook of course) and food stylist that can make each still cuts perfect and original but true. This is definitely a growing industry and more people are interested in food photography and styling. To honor those who work hard behind the scenes in these movies, I have taken the time to look up each food stylists behind these top 5 foodie movies of my choice. I won’t go into any details about the movie or plot because I think you all should watch them if you haven’t already.
