Gearing Up Dosirak (Lunch Box) Ideas

06.24.14
School is out but are you still packing? I am! This week, boys are at a full day camp that provides lunch and snack (yipee!) but most of the summer, I’ll have to continue to pack lunch and snack for their camp. I’m gearing up for the new school year early this time.
+ Blue Avocado re(zip) reusable snack and sandwich zip packs – These are so great as I’m getting tired

of using those zip lock bags. I got this idea from DESIGN MOM‘s lunch box series. If you haven’t
already, you should check out her series. She has some great healthy and yummy lunch ideas!

+ Pottery Barns Spenser Bento Box – I love that little inner flap for juicy items!
+ Thermos Stainless Food Jar – I use these Thermos food jars to pack warm lunches like pasta, rice or soup.

Kids told me they stay in warm temperature until lunch time!

+ Linen dish clothe wrap & Sideshow Press crumb bags – cutest way to wrap up some bento boxes

or zip bags before putting them into the lunch bag carrier.

+ Blue Avocado insulated lunch carrier & fold out placemats – I love the size and versatile dividers

inside. It also comes with matching placemats. I also like the ones that come with monograms from
Pottery Barn or LL. Bean.

Here is a monthly reference for lunch box idea that you can repeat and rotate every month. I know it’s hard to follow this every day but I think it’s still a good reference to have posted on your fridge for grocery shopping. I don’t know about you but ‘what to pack today’ is usually first thing I have to think about when I wake up. By having some preset menu reference, I feel less stressful in the morning.

Hope you find these useful!
